In the case of sworn translation: Giving your name and surname is compulsory. These data will be processed for introduction into the repertory, i.e. a list of activities performed by a sworn translator. Their application is compulsory and results from the requirement to indicate the ordering party or the ordering party specified in art. 17 par. 2 of the Act on the profession of sworn translator (from 25/10/2014 with later amendments)). This data will be stored for a period resulting from the relevant provisions regarding the obligation to keep and archive the repertoire of a sworn translator (Article 22 of the Act)). Providing the address data, e-mail address and phone number is voluntary, but necessary for contact during the order, your identification when receiving the translation to prevent the transmission of documents to an unauthorized person and possibly sending back uncollected documents. The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest of the administrator. The processing of personal data, both yours and third parties contained in documents subject to translation, is necessary for the performance of the contract, although their application is voluntary. They can be (in the form of original documents and their translations) stored for three years (period of professional liability) from the date of receipt of the translation for possible complaints or inquiries from the judicial authorities. The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest of the administrator. Copies of some translated texts (in the original and target language) may be kept indefinitely for the purpose of improving a professional translator and building a knowledge base (translation templates). The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest of the administrator. In case you wish to receive an invoice, the requirement will provide additional data necessary for its issuance, and resulting from tax regulations that impose such an obligation on you. This data will be kept for a period resulting from the applicable regulations.
You have the right to request from the administrator:
  • access to data concerning you,
  • providing you with a copy of the data to be processed,
  • correcting these data,
  • You have the right to demand the deletion of data or limitation of their processing for storage, which the administrator is required to perform only if certain circumstances described in the regulations on the protection of personal data take place, in particular when you raise the objection referred to below.
You have the right to object at any time to the processing of data when the legal basis for processing is the legally justified purpose of the administrator.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
