Copies of some translated texts (in the original and target language) may be kept indefinitely for the purpose of improving a professional translator and building a knowledge base (translation templates). In case you wish to receive an invoice, the requirement will provide additional data necessary for its issuance, and resulting from tax regulations that impose such an obligation on you.
